Nash ending the streak wasn't the problem, a hundred run in aside. The problem was that he laid down for Hogan which rendered the victory over Goldberg pointless since it turned out to just be another way to get Hogan back the belt

In a vacuum it isn't, because no matter who ended the streak we would've had people argue about it to this day, like with Brock Lesnar. It would've been fine if it led to something but instead the entire situation just made everyone look worse

they all were. a rare lapse in judgment on Hogan's part. he usually had better instincts than that. then again, Hogan laid down for sting at halloween havoc 99 and agreed to jeff jarrett laying down for him at bash at the beach 00. why the fuck he agreed to no less than 3 matches where either he or his opponent literally laid down in the ring, i'll never understand. it just makes both look weak
