If anything it just exposes Stardom and joshi in general. Same exact thing happens in AEW. These girls all rehearse their matches and when they actually have to do something on the fly it falls apart.

AEW is really bad. They hype up these joshis and they come out to zero reaction and shit the place up. At the very least in Iyo's case she got good reactions and I'd still have her as top 3 performer in the division. Knocking her for a botch is shitty when I saw countless botches from the other women in that match too.

Responding to myself: Kairi mentioned that it's much harder to wrestle in WWE than in Japan because you can't rehearse your matches and you often don't know what kind of spots you'll do until the match starts. Same happens in NXT.

There is definitely a difference between the two performance styles. Iyo is much better than when she first was called up so she is improving and getting used to this WWE style.

It's mostly that they get contaminated with e-slop in developmental. Always happens with anyone who goes there. When they get released and go back to the indies or Japan they're always worse than they were when they originally signed, even with rehearsed matches. You go there and basically unlearn pro wrestling.

I don't know what her issue is since getting to the main roster. In NXT her matches were pretty smooth and there were no botches. Even when the shows were live every week. It's almost like she's overthinking this shit and its making her hesitate which leads to fucked up timing and botches. There is also some issue with her and Alexa. When they first started working together it was a fucking mess. Miscommunications, fucked up timing, botches; etc. I notice now that they barely pit them against each other.

Io and Bianca are supposed to be better than Kairi and Mayu, yet Kairi vs Mayu was a MOTYC while Bianca vs Io was just an above average match. It speaks volume about how garbage the WWE style is.

As far as Alexa, I think she got pissed at Iyo once for working stiff and tried to give her a receipt but Iyo basically reversed it and KWAB'd her. Alexa has always struck me as a snake so if she's butthurt I wouldn't put it past her to sandbag or, for example, roll out of the way of a moonsault to make Iyo look shitty. inb4 "headcanon" replies, and yeah, pretty much. That's just my view of the situation.
