theory was getting a zenkai boost. the more bobby clobbered him around the ring he kept getting stronger. you could tell throughout the match he started learning counters to moves that previously got him before, kind of cool storytelling within the match too

This is actually really good booking and has already changed the energy around Theory. instead of tying him to Vince and a briefcase he's now free to get over or not get over based on himself.

Dude, they booked him to lose almost every match since he won the briefcase. And yes,.some of that was still under Vince, but Paul did nothing to correct it. Right now Theory is a loser who won one time, and that one time just happened to be for the belt. But ultimately he's still a loser. I bet if you asked most normie fans they'd say the same.

There is a little moment in the match I particularly like.

This was the same counter Brock Lesnar used earlier in the month at Crown Jewel for the win, and Theory very nearly repeated that feat (only for Seff to break up the pin)
