so many things happened from vince getting forced out of wwe, tony khan destroying aew, triple h taking over wwe, undisputed era completely bought and killed by aew, cm punk fucking up his career. there's many things i can't even remember. no one can even agree on kwaboty because there's just too many candidates.

additionally aew had an amazing first half of the year and then wwe the past 6 months has been the best in years. i don't know how good this is for wrestling but things are entertaining and unpredictable.

that escaped my mind. this year has been pretty wild. for the first time in years i'm excited about wwe. i think 2023 is gonna be an amazing year and hopefully aew can get better. whether you liked punk or not his departure hurt them and the needless acquisition of roh.

If nothing else of note happened and Vince was forced to retire it still would have been the most historic year in recent memory. Vince McMahon was synonymous with pro wrestling for decades.
