He seems like a good dude, nobody seems to really have issues with him, and he just wants to give exposure to his promotion. Unfortunately for him he's "partnered" with a snake who's all take and no give and openly courts his competition because Daddy Dave doesn't watch DDT.

The fact that you're trying to feel bad for him shows you know little to nothing about DDT or Takagi.
DDT is never ever moving up or down in any significant fashion again unless something dramatic (no pun intended) like a major scandal happens/gets exposed. Either he seemingly knows DDT is never having another growth spurt again and just decided "fuck it we never really went after the western market" or he thinks it's something that'll somehow blow up DDT both worldwide and domestically.

Honestly Impact isn't in a position to big league anyone and they did send them Su Yung who was one of their top acts in the knockouts division. I'm going to guess that Rosa pushed for the Miyu thing since she'd already had a relationship with TJPW prior to signing with AEW.

The TNAmecca fans are getting more and more insane about it too. Before it was AEW and nujamals fault... Now it's that Meltz (boomer podcaster only listened to by tape trading boomers) for not talking about impact more often. He reviews 3.5 star plus matches for impact PPVs and tapings tho... The same as any other small wrestling company.

TNA Mecca and TNA Asylum (I believe the few remaining users of those sites now populate a place called DiscussPW where they only ever talk about TNA in the same psychotic echo chamber capacity as Mecca) were blaming Meltzer for TNA being irrelevant shit 10 years ago. They go around in excuse-making cycles as to why their dollar store knock off brand generic wheat flakes pro wrestling company isn't as popular as WWE. This was back when TNA was relevant enough to be the perpetual whipping boy/laughing stock of the IWC too. THey haven't been that relevant in years since AEW began & NJPW began gaining US prominence in the mid 00s. Now nobody even cares enough about them to even mock them anymore.
