Rey Mysterio is just well known thanks to WWE, but he's not even close in dimes looks compared to some of Mexico's best masked luchadores, plenty of Masks are absolute dimes, the difference was Rey was pushed because he's no stranger to speaking fluent english since he's from San Diego CA.

Nah. Místico was dimes with the eye contact and no mouth combo, Abismo Negro looked great, Tinieblas' mask was so simple and yet incredibly unique in the lucha scene. There are plenty of great masks in lucha and wrestling in general to say that Mysterio's is the best.
