They could've at least tried it, instead they decided to cool him off by having weeks of story with Danhausan which then led to a single match and it was never mentioned again. Then he was off TV for a while, won his dad's participation trophy and now he's just squashing jobbers again, I don't think they've given him a single match that went 10 minutes, how is he supposed to learn to get better? His biggest match has to be like, against the other guy in 2.0 that isn't Matt Menard

He was paired with danhuasen, who personally i think is garbage, but the audience really liked on the mic. He could've easily been the voice while hook was the look/""""muscle""" of the group. Could've been a decent baby face tag team that couldve gotten over. Hell they could've thrown in that giant pajeet and do a whole terminator angle of Hook trying to teach him how to be cool. Either way tonys, stop and start booking style is gonna kill his promotion

Not saying he isn’t in shape, he’s small for the character they gave him. I think that’s AEW’s problem. Cody vs. Darby looked absolutely ridiculous. Some of these guys just aren’t believable. It’s like a roster of Spike Dudley’s booked as something way more.

That's not a roster problem, that's a booking problem. Of course good booking with captivating angles where everyone has something to do woult require talent and it's easier to just book 30 minute matches with flips.
