Eric Young is coming back to the WWE to feud with Dexter Lumis.

There were plans for Miz/Maryse vs Dexter/Indi but Maryse declined, as Hunter wanted Maryse back full time and she would rather do occasional guest spots than be a full time regular.

So the plan is to bring Eric Young back, uniting him with Nikki Cross and have him try and force Dexter to go evil again under the notion that "Dexter's lying to himself trying to be a hero and that he's really a monster and should embrace that version of himself". Indi will in turn be brought up to the main roster, to try and use her love for Dexter to stop Eric's attempts to drive Dexter insane and force him to become a villain again.

Gargano will be part of the feud, as he will be targeted by Eric Young as part of his crusade against Dexter. Gargano likes working with Dexter, since Gargano can relax around Dexter and do more story driven work and not have to worry about sawdusting his body like he did with Ciampa and Undisputed Era.
