Putin was forced into this war, it took him 8 months before he had the balls to let his military destroy Ukrainian infrastructure. Ukraine's only chance to win the war is to convince Putin to sign some deal that he thinks is a geopolitical 5-D chess move on his part and then for Ukraine to ignore every single provision in the deal and use the time to train and re-arm themselves with more NATO equipment. Ukraine however is full on delusional, has fully embraced their kamikaze role and their refusal to negotiate will end up being what drags Putin kicking and screaming into annexing the entirety of Ukraine and killing every Ukrainian in his path.
