>Well Stardom aren't the only ones putting over older wrestlers in big tournaments. 46 year old Chikayo Nagashima in Marvelous just become the AAAW Champion beating Mio Monomo in the final of their tournament to crown a new top Champion after Takumi Iroha had to vacate the belt. The word going around is that Unagi was booked to win that tournament, but the finish got screwed up in her first round match where she pinned Tomoko Watanabe, but only after the time limit had expired. And they had to call it as a shoot given they had a clock on the big screen basically counting down the 15 minute time limits, so they couldn't just kayfabe it and sent Unagi through. Apparently Unagi was crying and visibly distraught when they announced it as a draw.
