Vince would've took control of the situation and turned it into a work shoot, put the belt on Omega and had injured Punk on TV doing work shoots on tv. Why can't Tony Khan turn controversy into cash?

Blame Jericho. I'm sure Tony would have found a way to put Punk on commentary first chance he could, but Jericho apparently explicitly told Tony that Punk had to stay home and pushed the "he's locker room poison" meme hard to Tony in order to banish Punk into exile.

His number 2 is literally a lawyer, if that tells you anything. The only way Tony is ever goinng to get the boys' respect is if he roids up and gets in the ring. Vince was smart enoigh to have dudes in the room with him to physically intemidate his employees.
