Tonight's Dynamite was heavily rewritten at the last minute due to backstage bullcrap.
FTR were supposed to win the tag belts, but the Bucks threw a huge queen size tantrum to spike it this morning, as they were pissed the fuck off that Tony told them that their "best of seven" series was being bumped from the show this week due to the fact that it was ratings poison.
Tony was livid, as he had promised Discovery executives that he was "phasing out" the ROH stuff save for Jericho (a big name) and FTR (who were getting the AEW belts). Tony had also ordered new AEW belts for FTR to represent them being not only AEW champions but also the other three tag belts they had. Which is now a mute point of sorts in terms of more money thrown into a burning trashcan that is "pandering to the Bucks".
Also, Tony was dealing with some especially nasty PR with the Briscos going onto Twitter and saying they were "banned from TV" because of the Bucks snitching on them for refusing to work with them/wanting to work with FTR instead. Apparently Discovery wanted to know what the fuck that meant, meaning Tony had to explain about the anti-gay tweets, him getting the Briscos to recant their homophobia and the work he did getting Effy to bless them as "changed men", only for the Bucks to go crying to a woke Warner/AT&T executive to get them banned because the Briscos wanted to work with FTR, not the Bucks.
