Reminder, Renee Youngs non-compete from WWE was an actual full year, she was not allowed to sign with any other wrestling promotion or appear on TV. She was not allowed to get a job in wrestling.

Meanwhile, William Regal is free to sign with WWE, just not appear on TV for a year. He can work, he is not being prevented from working.
