Russo/ferrara's writing with the wwf cast in 98/99 was the perfect combo. They fit each other perfectly. Wasnt such a good fit in wcw. John and paul were a good combo in the beatles but they werent so good on their own. Doesnt mean you have to be stupid and say paul was never good or whatever lol. Russo definitely contributed and was responsible for many storylines like the corporation and the ministry, and iconic segments like the beer truck. Do you think steve austin was writing his own storylines? Do you think the wrestlers were writing the television show? The attitude era wasnt just guys cutting promos on each other in the ring like modern wrestling. It had actual storylines and exciting television. You would know that if you actually watched every week at the time
