David dying caused Mike to kill himself (along with the brain damage he suffered from his fever and his general disinterest in wrestling), then Mike dying caused Chris to kill himself (along with his failure to make it in wrestling). Then Kerry had lost his foot, was facing jail time and missed his brothers, and that played into his death.
They also were forced/pushed to continue wrestling despite maybe not wanting to along with being allowed to get away with whatever they wanted because they were famous, which lead to real life trouble when they couldn't get away with it.
