>>8241208They definitely dont. They could just do austin vs reigns instead and it wouldnt be wasting an austin match on a 45 year old wreck who has been shitting on wwe for years. Why would they reward punk with an austin match when he would only draw 100k turbo smarks at most (and repel many potential casuals) and he walked out on wwe? Austin has also said he would like to wrestle reigns
If they cant do a real dream match like cena they would give it to orton, aj styles, austin theory, cody, or a thousand other people before punk. I doubt Austin has any interest in wasting a comeback on punk now. There's no way he would get in there with him after the UFC shit. Punk is finished. Zero benefit to austin
It was never a real dream match, redditor smarks tried to push it but everybody else would have rather he faced cena, lesnar or a legend like goldberg. Punk was never similar to austin in status or anything, they are nothing alike, it would have only had value when punk was wwe champ. He's just some washed up random guy now. He's not a big enough star and it would be embarrassing for Austin to be advertised against him. Wrestlemania attracts a huge casual audience and Punk is a laughing stock to everybody in the world outside of squaredcircle. Aew only got away with having punk because nobody watches it
Redditors and people who were 9 when punk wrestled are the only people who still want that match. WWE most definitely does not
