as far as his book goes he's been pretty protected, only being personally beaten twice (pinned by guevara at the end of his tnt title reign, and passed out in bryan danielson's submission). the real truth came out recently in that he could be on tv more often but has been refusing creative offered to him (behaviour that would get him severely punished in the e)

Andrade was really given ever chance possible, multiple mouth pieces, his own stable, plenty of tv time, prominent feuds, they brought in family members for him, had him go over tons of people, in the end he's only got himself to blame for not doing more with what he was given, Rush has proven better in his spot already anyway

A lot of what you say rings true, this especially. Yes, Unintelligibles is still a jobbing heel faction but Rush is much more spiteful and mean in-ring and in promos even if they are equally confusing. Andrade is Rush at home.
Andrade was truely heelish with Sammy but that was on twitter and backstage, you didn't get to see any of that. I really hope he'd have the sense to revamp his character into something else than a mob thing when he gets back on any tv show.

The only time I liked andrade in AEW was his matches with PAC and the Mr Stink thing

He carries himself like he should be a megastar but he never really backs it up, and seems to have attitude issues

Pretty much this, Andrade carries himself like one of the top workers in the world and while he is very good, he's done nothing to establish him as being a 'cut above' which is how he puts on.
