I'm guessing its a special snail that lives for decades if it will chase me for the rest of my life. That said, he says nothing about simply trapping the snail. I box it up and pay someone to keep it or mail it all over the place. Maybe even make a YouTube video of it and the people its sent to and hope it goes viral so everyone gets in on it.

Not only that. Even if he could pass through door or walls you'd just have to travel frecuently. If you're in USA and the snail is near you just fly to Europe for example and live for a while until the snails is near again, then you go back to the USA and so on.

The only problem with the trapping theory is that you have to find the snail in the first place. If it starts out two states away or something you can't just stick it in a box and go to the bank, you're gonna have to wait months and months for it and pay a guy to guard you while you sleep in case it shows up
