does it ever suddenly hit you how dumb wrestling is? it's the very worst of the consumerist worldview and there's very little actual artistic merit to it. it only exists to trick people out of their money to buy 30 dollar t-shirts and foam fingers. even in the context of the stories there's no real incentive for payoff since the show goes on and something else will start the next night. plus everyone in the business is a scumbag living the carny gimmick. anyway, yes i will still watch every week but it's hard to ignore sometimes.
