I must have seen reruns of the rundown on tv about 20 times in my life. I don't always pay attention to it, but it's fine enough. Dwayne did well as the googly eyed out of his element strongman. He wasn't trying to be "charming" or "cool" like he does now. He was this pissed off unintentionally goofy guy who reluctantly had to fight hues in the jungle, and he bantered with the guy from goon. Good movie to watch with your pops.

For most of the 10's he made money because Fast 5 basically got him out of Disney hell.
Then he did a bunch of disaster films which always sell, and China loved.
Baywatch happened and he had a meltdown, but Moana got him out of it.
He got Jumanji which did surprisingly well.
Did it again, while working on ballers and his other promotional shit, but people started getting burned out from him.

He's been pretty over-exposed these past couple of years, shit like Young Rock, Cruise, Hobbs and Shaw, Teremana, Energy Drinks, Political Shilling... people are just tired of him.

On top of that he simply plays himself in movies, and you only earn that privilege after years of amazing work. Rock never earned that and doesn't even have a film people would remember because it feels like one long movie.

It's Rock's fault more than anything. He seethed wanting to be the IronMan for DCU, instead of just doing Shazam and playing a heel. He wanted to be the hero, the story doesn't make any sense, and he didn't let someone smart write the script and direct.

He’s a creep and he had ONE good movie.

I was actually looking forward to Cavill being back as superman. Oh well. More retarded reboots for NO REASON. The Batman was mediocre.

Even though DC’s universe got off to a rocky start, Batfleck Black Adam Shazam Aquaman Cavill Superman are STILL the best they’ve got.

I’m out. I’ll just watch The dark knight series on repeat.
