Man, almost everyone in AAA/CMLL, Japan had people blasting licensed stuff too, Edge with never gonna stop, The Dudleyz with Drop the Bombshell, everyone in ECW, legit licensed music can get you really over even if you're a shitter, look at Orange Cassidy for example, i think he's a turbo shitter but i always popped for Where's my mind and it kinda fit's his slow non chalant entrance to the ring.

I think it’s great. I tried to get discussion on battle rap started on /asp/ a few times because it’s the exact same shit as pro wrestling. gimmicks and feuds and territories and heels and faces and PPVs. you’d be surprised how many obscure wrestling references people in the crowd get
