Flair vs Steamboat and Razor Ramon vs Lightning Kid made both latter wrestlers mainstream stars. Action Andretti is not only just a flavor of the week, but there's already barely any talk about him.
There's the other difference by the way. Hook, Wardlow, the Acclaim and hell, even Fuego. They got hot and the only reason they cooled down was because AEW was aggressively cooling them down after "pulling the trigger" on them. Those guys grind and organically got fan support. Action Andretti came out of nowhere. He had no history. No one cares about him. The only history he's got is that he's the champion of some indy fed somewhere. Is he talented? Probably. But no one cares. People got excited because of the upset but now they're already bored with him.
