Then he accumulated a ton of L's and his gimmick started getting stale and people just think of him as a guy who had a chance but never got the trigger pulled. This will straight up kill a career, like it did to Sandow.
Sometimes these people can be salvaged, but it takes a lot of work to get the jobber stink off. You can't hotshot it like with Jinder, or else it just seems ridiculous. I think if they made him a monster heel and had him terrorize the midcard for a year he'd be ready for the main-event.
