Walter/Gunther's entire character works because he's a serious wrestler having technical matches in a company focused on sports entertainment silliness, that's literally his entire appeal. In New Japan he'd be just another guy

But you are right on the camerawork. God damn fast paced consecutive zoom in and zoom outs. They probably hired all the former music video show cameramen from the nineties.
