Because as soon as WWE let him go he went to All Japan to win the Triple Crown which he traded back and forth with Misawa, and then left with him for NOAH. Which was much more based and fun for him than whatever he would have done in ECW, as much as I would have loved to have seen a reunited team of him and Bam Bam.

because ECW despite having "Extreme" in it was also a pussified promotion and only the gooks let Vader hit him as hard as he wanted to. ECW shitters would be either dead or crippled wrestling a guy like Vader because they were all high on drugs and drunk at the same time every night.
