The Forbidden Door four way sucked and the Tama match was good but Tama was never fucking winning. He needed to actually beat some legit babyfaces and have worthwhile programs but nearly everybody he could have had a program with either already challenged too recently (Naito, ZSJ) is injured/likely blacklisted (Ibushi) or is busy with another belt (Shingo, Ospreay). They could have at least revived the feud with Ishii, which could have led to another Tana match; it would have at least let Jay have something to show for a six month reign. Man, both their top belts have been the shits in the second half of this year.
