Had he stayed in new japan he probably would have turned face in an angle with Tanahashi against the bullet club and he'd have become at the very least the #2 gaijin in the company, tied with either jay or ospreay depending on the circumstances. He's got it all: handsome, tall, built, more flexible than you might think, wrestles very well, is intense, can cut a promo, and would have to learn from the top guys. His aew character had a lot potential for depth, but unfortunately he gave in to the more self indulgent meltzerfag tendencies of his friends coupled with working for a terrible booker and now he's stuck in a lower realm than the one he should be ruling.
