The Rock's legacy is quickly turning from "top-level prominent grassroots figure in an industry with tens of millions of fans" to "astroturfed Hollywood celebrity". Just for perspective, Ric Flair, who never tried to """move up""" to being a full time movie star, gets quoted by young normies constantly to this day. If The Rock becomes better known as a has-been sellout and a one-note actor who played in a lot of mediocre movies than a great wrestler, he won't have that when he's Flair's age. He'd have a better legacy if he bowed out of the limelight as Stephanie's writers moved in.
