I'd honestly rather see a kid get his ass beat by his parents a few times and see a kid whose parents don't care to the point where he can't read or write. One of the two at least has a chance at a normal life one day.
There's kids in her class that literally throw chairs and hit other kids and teachers and don't even get in trouble. The actual autistic kids get "integrated" into the normal classrooms for whatever reason now too, I guess just to disrupt any normalcy whatsoever. It's all totally insane. I have a kid on the way and for the first time in my whole life I am now strongly considering homeschooling or, at the very least, sending them to public school for social activity and teaching them at home as well. I'm not even one of these political people, this shit is just wild. I think if people knew what it was like in there now, they'd stop being pissed about trans books in the library and start being pissed about just the entire fucking thing altogether.
