Something flashy and larger than life with a lot of exposed metal that makes AEW stop looking like a bush league operation and start looking like a big deal. The new set should turn every episode of Dynamite/Rampage into a crazy over the top spectacle because TV, and especially wrestling, is supposed to be as attention grabbing as possible. But somehow this wisdom seems to be have been lost over the years.

The spectacle's great but the set itself sucks. It's just a bunch of slick, clean LCD screens and no grit. I fucking hate how nothing has grit anymore.

The stage definitely needs to feel part of the show, I've been blown away by how shit AEW's stage has been. Just two shitty tunnels and a weird LED chandelier, that's basically been it. And then for PPVs they put a huge screen behind and on the ramp. No props or anything.

They did hire the guy who was the second in command for production. Though he was more for the video packages and editing but maybe he had something to do with stage and sets.

They used to have props for double or nothing but they didn’t even use them this time. I really wish they could have elaborate stages with nice sets ala wcw ppvs but probably wouldn’t be practical with how many named episodes they have and such.
