Even if The Rock was not going to be part of Wrestlemania, Cody was never going to beat Roman for the title at mania. This is the scariest headcannon e-drones have created. There's kayfabe or shoot reason he would beat Roman. If for some reason they did book it, it makes Roman look weak as fuck losing to guy who wasn't even good enough to be world champ in AEW. After Roman loses the belt to Sami at mania they'll do a Reigns/Cody feud about the samoan dynasty and rhodes dynasty leading into Summerslam.
