>worst2008. the beginning of the hd era was not a good time to be a viewer, and there were very few things to look forward to. the only positives i could recall were the edge/taker feud, y2j/hbk, jeff winning the big one, and regal. the rest was unbelievably dull with these dead crowds, even moreso than the much derided guest host era in 2009 because at the very least the latter had a new ecw that had a clue. i will say that these last two years are almost as bad, but they're redeemed by having higher standard for in ring work compared to mike knox vs matt hardy
