Like for video games some of my favorite games have god awful performance or other massive flaws where I couldn't objectively give it anything higher than a 6 or 7 but they still make my favorites list because of something else they do great.

I have such a thing for films but there isn't a single thing I would put on best X and actively hate. The only reasoning I can think of is if a film was a technical and narrative masterpiece but I heavily disagreed with its message to a point where it really pissed me of.
