I unironically don't mind "big" guys in wrestling if they're actually doing anything else than being IM BIG AND SOMEWHAT STRONG
Big guys with that gimmick are boring same way small guys are boring with the IM A GOOD/BEST WRESTLER gimmick

Exactly, which is why I'd rather watch a gimmick match with sloppy/slow Luchasaurus than anything Big Bill does without Enzo by his side to work the crowd, Stokely might be similar size but he has 1/10 of the charisma Enzo had

you can watch deadline's men's iron survivor challenge match, it was pretty good
i also recommend frazer and axiom's bo3 if you're into workrate matches by smaller wrestlers

Yes, wrestling has changed, and that’s why top tier big guys would rather do anything else than become wrestlers. Hence modern big guys are nowhere near as good as they used to be. That doesn’t make me want to start watching small wrestlers though. It just means wrestling is worse now. The audience agrees; attendance and viewership is way down.

Only if they're actually fluid and somewhat quick and not gay-ass-looking mat wrestling where you hold your face to your opponents ass and that is called the "brap lock"

coming to think of it I enjoyed wrestling the most when I watched LU but we don't have anything like that anymore

nah they're very fluid and lot of fun to watch, hope you enjoy them anon, it's one of my favorites series this year
