>>Plans are for FTR/Punk to beat the Elite for the Trios belt, which will keep Punk around on TV while having FTR do all of the heavy lifting in the ring. The Elite however, are still power flexing since this will mean finally having to do the rubber match/have their dirty laundry aired on live TV, so FTR is being made to drop the New Japan and AAA belts.
>>Re-signing FTR is a huge priority, as Tony feels humiliated that Regal played him to get his release plus doesn't want the bad PR of FTR walking away and spilling all of the backstage shit that they know. Dax being allowed to start up a podcast and talk about the Punk/Elite fight (which Punk has tacitly agreed to, on condition that certain things don't get discussed that Punk isn't legally allowed to be talked about) is part of Tony desperate bid to keep FTR happy so they'll re-up.
>>Adding to this, plans are for the Bucks to job to the Acclaimed to further push the Acclaim as a top team. With the Acclaimed being allowed free reign to bash the Bucks, per Discovery not seeing them as anything or anyone important. Whereas the Acclaimed are homegrown talent they want pushed.
