To be fair, these days it's the opposite.
X-Box and Playstation don't have exclusives anymore and most of their first party games are even getting PC releases because of supply chain issues and the fact that no one wants to upgrade to the current systems given the utter lack of difference between them and the last gen systems.
And while Nintendo does get fucked over when it comes to third party games, they still have an advantage of exclusive games; most notably Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda.
But yeah, it's kind of insane that the WWE has pretty much abandoned the Nintendo market, given that it's the only current gen system you can find at retail these days, not to mention the cheapest of the three. Redoing the PS2 games with current year roster would be the perfect sort of compromise if they cared about this untapped market that is thirsty as fuck for a WWE wrestling game.
