But, my longterm idea would have been Wardlow being the one to beat MJF for the title somewhere down the line in 2023 once MJF gets a few programs in. I don't think anything that Wardlow has done since he beat MJF has gotten him any closer to that. I didn't like Wardlow winning the TNT Title and turning down chances at the AEW/AEW Interim Title. I didn't like him teaming with Joe or fooling around with Woods/Nese. I didn't like him losing the TNT Title and I did not like what happened tonight. The only way I would have put Joe in there with Wardlow is if Wardlow's winning, since people like Wardlow should rarely ever lose.
