going to TV tapings was still kind of a slog with commercials but there was more buzz to keep you interested. PPVs were always fun and still are i'd argue at least the big ones

It was neat, I was sitting right in front of the crowd entrance at one show when Sandman appeared and done his shtick with the beer, it was awesome. I went to 5 shows around that time and the crowds were hot.

Between 1998~2003 it was a fucking party for WWF, ECW and WCW, whatever you were a kid going with your family, a bunch of girls or a bunch of rednecks it was a fucking party and you could feel the energy of the place even if you went to a mediocre show it was still one hell of an experience, now something like a big PPV?, Austin vs McMahon or Goldberg vs DDP?, my man 5 bucks those are some of the best memories anyone can have

Very few weirdos in the crowd as it was mostly rednecks and fathers with their sons. Lots of flash cameras and shitty flip phones taking pictures. I went to a few house shows and tv tapings during RA and always had a fun time. I haven't been to a live event in nearly a decade (2013) because the magic is long gone.

It was based brother. Crowds were hot, tons of signs and the stadiums were sold out and packed to the rafters. Went to a house show in Boston in 2000, couple more house shows in New England. Summerslam 2005. Multiple raw and smackdown tapings in 2005 and 2006. And also went to survivor series 2009. All good shows and worth the money.

im a zoomer too, my dad used to be a huge wrestling fan, so he has a bunch of pics/videos. it is odd to see a crowd so invested, it's not like an AEW crowd that cheers for fucking anything they see, these old WWF niggas were actually happy to see Steve Austin and shit. And they are obviously nothing like modern WWE fans who just sit for most of the show. It kinda makes me jealous to see how alive wrestling used to be, instead, we cope and say wrestling today is more popular because they have social media interaction.
