another problem is that they think theyre bookers, no one tried to "force" drew winning because it would be a yummy moment, some people think it sucks he didnt win some didnt its fine, in aew theyd all be talking about how its the right choice and trying to force it that way, its a promotion with that smark daniel bryan 2014/2015 crowd year round.

the belt feels like a participation trophy because way back right before hangman even won it, people were already fantasy booking punk vs mjf for the belt.

It was the wrong call. Roman was ice cold after his injury and people wanted Ambrose. Should have had Brock kill Ambrose at Mania 31 then have Roman win at one of the b pay per views before summer slam (with taker's help)

Am I the only one thinking that Tony missed the boat in not turning him face or at least tweener when he came back? He was getting massive face pops from the fans and there was an opportunity there to really evolve his persona. Instead, he's back to old Burberry heel mode which is what he apparently wants to be portrayed as, but it feels one-note and lackluster by comparison.

MJF absolutely needed to turn face or tweener. His pure heel persona's tired as fuck and it's time for it to stop but he just keeps sticking to it even though it had diminishing returns. He's probably given up on AEW so he's just going through the motions until his contract runs out.

CM Punk getting into that fight seems to have fucked everything up for Maxwell, I assume the original plans were a Summer of Punk rehash type thing, with MJF technically the heel but the crowd favorite versus the company face CM Punk, but then you know what happened and they substituted him for Moxley who became an afterthought because for some reason they made the entire angle about William Regal instead
