i think the booking and managment of that era ruined wrestling. super cena squashed a lot of up and comers, but would they have even been stars? cena put miz over at mania...lets not forget that. wwe didnt know how to make stars with roster they had so we got cena vs orten on loop with the occasional big show and jericho and cm cuck

I wasn't even a huge fan, but Cena like one of a few guys that maintained everything and got a few casuals/normal people to watch. Especially in 05 and 06. He's the last of his kind though.

Cena said specifically "with Vince, you do have to have a certain technical bravado, you gotta be able to wrestle, but at the same time, it's WWE, you have to be able to entertain the people. Chris just wasn't any good."

so obviously he could work a match, 99% of all wrestlers signed in WWF/WWE are of the highest caliber in ring work. But that doesn't really matter in the end when the people fall asleep watching you.

People cried over him not putting over the likes of Sandow, or Barrett. While Wade could talk he had like no ring presence and was just kind of a shitty wrestler. And if Sandow was worth anything he would have proven it and came back.
