>>8413808Dax is working an angle ya fucking dope. He wants the third match with TYB to feel like it has as much bad blood as possible.
There's a reason he's never commented on the "The Young Bucks campaigned for FTR to win the IWGP Titles to Gedo, who had originally suggested the Bucks."
This is also the same guy who like... 2 days ago said that pretty much everybody in the locker room gets along and has a great time.
Which to be fair, I think when it came to the first FTR vs Briscoes match, the animosity they built online and all the hurdles and uncertainty leading up to the match increased my investment in it. Really wasn’t sure what to make of it, but then it made the ending all the sweeter where you saw two top notch teams beat the shit out of each other and end the match acknowledging mutual respect.
When it comes to Bucks vs FTR, with all of the other layers of uncertainty within AEW and how long folks will be with the company, there’s always this worry that we won’t get any more installments. The first match was amazing but still feels like there’s so much more still on the table. FTR has kept it fresh in their matches throughout 2022 with the Briscoes, and while I have a little fatigue of this best of 7, the elite and death triangle have also shown a lot of creativity to keep each match distinct. I love FTR and I love the bucks, and I just hope we see them be able to pay off their love of tag team wrestling to the fullest.
