No. A great heel makes you want to watch them get beat, like Roman going up against Drew or the inevitable Sami match. With MJF, it's just a case of "this guy is tedious, I'm not interested." The TV ratings and YouTube numbers back up that plenty of people find him tiresome and dull too.

Instead of reacting to what he is doing, they are reacting to how they perceive the effects.
In their mind, calling Darby a "school shooter" is edgy and disgusting but since he is a le heel, it's actually fucking genius BECAUSE he is supposed to be disgusting, when in reality it's trite and overdone and has the same "mother's basement" level of impact.

He’s been exposed ten times over. There’s really no real heat anymore, unless you’re mentally ill and think Seth Rollins scammed you so you attack him, people like MJF will never get true heat ever again, that heat goes to UFC guts who people know are fighting for real.
