This match was one of the reasons I stopped watching WWE in mid-2002 and didn't come back until around the time of Wrestlemania in 2004. After years of seeing Austin, Rock, HHH, Foley, Angle, Jericho etc. at the top of the card, 48 year old Hogan vs. 37 year old Undertaker was a major drop in quality, match pace, and excitement. That along with Brock Lesnar receiving a monster push despite having no charisma and verbal skills at that point (this happened to me again around 2006 with Lashley). Oh, and the botched invasion and underwhelming NWO introduction. And then Austin walking out three weeks after this match. But thinking back, it was this match that drained what remained of my interest and pushed me halfway out the door, then when Austin left in June I was fully gone.
