In a little over 24 hours, as the match is roaring well into its half hour mark, Will Ospreay will pull a Hidden Blade out of nowhere to the back of Kenny Omega's head. Then, immediately after, not allowing Omega to recuperate, Ospreay will raise him high and hit him with a Stormbreaker for the 1, the 2, and the 3. With this achievement, Ospreay will not just defeat Omega, but also surpass him in IWGP US championship defenses, becoming THE new IWGP US gold standard. Omega will lay defeated and get carried away having been humbled by the man he considered a mere shadow of himself. The crowd will rejoice, for throughout the match, Ospreay will have earned their admiration.

Yeah, Kenny gave the game away with his heel promos, plus there's no defenses hinted at after he'd win. Ospreay is winning.

>>8449975 I don't think I care. I think the most entertaining outcome for me would be a match that Meltzer gives less than five stars.

I think Omega will win and carry this feud to Forbidden Door 2. Giving Ospreay his win back.

>>8450214 For it to be a series, Ospreay should win first, no? He's the underdog. And like Kenny is playing the heel now, Ospreay could easily switch roles and play the cocky heel AFTER he wins.

>>8449975 Not shit Will Ospreay is winning. Notice how Tony doesn't want to help promote a buildup for this match on AEW because Tony knows Kenny putting the guy over

>>8450280 Tony never promotes his stars appearing on other shows. Why should he? He's not seeing a penny.

>>8450780 He still has to win the G1. And keep defending the US. And try to beat Okada cleanly finally.

It'll be interesting to see if AEW is in it for the long haul, because they're too young of a promotion to have a returning former champ coming back to his old stomping grounds. I wonder if Cody will be the hottest free agent in three years

>>8450946 >because they're too young of a promotion to have a returning former champ coming back to his old stomping grounds Are they? It's not like Omega is gonna be wrestling regularly in New Japan. Best case scenario, he'd wrestle like 3 times a year. Most likely, he's not wrestling in New Japan again until another 2 years from now at least.

>>8449975 The less over guy should go over clean to see if it helps establish him as a bigger deal but that’ll never happen. I’ll put 100 dollars on Omega or a TLD
