The NFL/Damar Hamlin situation makes the 1999 Attitude Era roster look really bad in comparison:

Compare that to:
>wrestler falls nearly 80 fucking feet from the arena rafters into the ring
>everyone backstage pretty much KNOWS he's a goner immediately
>his death is literally confirmed during the show, on-air
>Vince McMahon: "I said FINISH THE SHOW, DAMMIT"
>Attitude Era roster: "....yes, boss...."
Say what you want about today's roster but if Sami Zayn fell 80 feet mid-show and was rushed to the hospital, I don't see them continuing the show even if the higher-ups ordered them to
