Gedo has jackshit to do with why that match was good. In fact, he may have been responsible for Omega winning it, which was the wrong decision.
What Tony should steal is whoever is in charge of New Japan's production and whoever is in charge of laying out the matches. And then he should implement bouncers at his shows so only 20% of the crowd at most can be cringe. Maybe it will even eventually result in his audiences growing when actual families don't feel threatened by all the gay nerds.

Nah. Maybe in AEW they all lay the matches by themselves, but we know there's road agent type people in New Japan that have a good amount of say too and fit it all together. And honestly, I'd be shocked if that wasn't the case in AEW as well at least to some extent.
