If Disney bought it they'd do Disney on Ice version and all that shit. I could see a lot of people buying it for the IPs desu. Disney, Pixar, fuck even some Capeshit studio if they can afford it. Whoever buys it will churn out films with characters like Hogan, Cena, Undertaker, Rock ect ect.

In terms of the actual TV show and what not, that will be more of an after thought. As long as the big TV deals keep coming then they will keep doing it, but the day those contracts start to shrink I can see them moving to a more global touring format where they do way less shows but go around the world selling out stadiums in place like UK, India, China, Saudi, etc

dumb take. It is completely possible for a wrestling company to produce good content and yet still go out of business for a variety of reasons. WCW died because they got screwed by a change in ownership. ROH got killed by covid, although they weren't doing great before that either. TNA just became Impact, and I never watched lucha underground but it seems to have been fairly popular. There are other examples too. XPW went out of business as a result of a federal indictment of the owner, and the old-school NWA died out because they monopolized the business for too long and weren't willing to change with the times at all.
