Also if you know the classic wrestling match formula(shine, cut-off, heat, hope spot, etc), I think the author is really good at the Heat into Hope Spot part of the fight and I read a lot of battle manga. The main hero is really vanilla but the author does a good job at making you root for him. Other protagonists from other series have more personality would resonate better with some people but Tanjiro is more designed for broader audience.
