>>8496190No Variety is not right and rarely is. Yes there has been a call from certain companies to stop spending but not from the suitors interested in WWE and not for the kind of content WWE makes. Companies are putting the brakes on serial content, your typical sitcoms dramas, etc because those are expensive and are hit and miss. WWE is live "sports" TV, something like basketball, football, baseball, hockey etc. That type of programming is always in demand and remains in high demand. Especially from a company like Amazon that wants to expand the live sports content it has begun to build with its NFL and MLB deals. And Disney is still interested in adding content to its ESPN+ platform, and was talking to WWE about signing it to a long term deal before FOX came with their offer.
