I never really understood Strong.
It wasn't on a US TV channel or on youtube, so nobody outside of the NJPW World base was going to see it and it wouldn't have grown the US audience.
I guess it did get some younger talent some extra bookings, but the show featured US indy talent even more than those guys and NJPW still haven't used most of those US indy guys.
If the next move is to work with AEW's ROH and use that, it would make sense, but that also further ensures that ROH becomes AEW's NXT and not AEW's Smackdown. However, if it's just going to be a developmental promotion, I don't understand why AEW wouldn't just use Dark or Elevation instead.
